Who can take part
The referral offer is open to existing Ecosave Gas & Power customers with a live account at the time the referral is made. You may refer any business that is not already an Ecosave customer and is not already in discussion with us — including other businesses you own or are involved in, provided each is on a separate energy contract.
When the reward is earned
Key conditionThe reward is earned only once the business you refer completes sign-up and goes live on a contract with Ecosave. A referral on its own — a name and number — does not qualify for the reward. No reward is payable for an introduction that does not result in a completed switch.
How to refer
Fill out a quick energy quote on behalf of the business you're referring — just enter their business details into the quote form. The referred business must confirm they are happy to be contacted by Ecosave. We will take it from there and keep you updated on progress.
How much you can earn
There is no limit on the number of businesses you can refer. You earn £50 for each referred business that completes sign-up — choose your reward type for each one. Refer three businesses that sign up and you earn £150; refer five and you earn £250, and so on.
When and how you're paid
Your reward is issued within 30 days of the referred business going live on their Ecosave contract. You can choose from a range of reward options. Vouchers and rewards are sent electronically or dispatched to the contact details held on your account. For non-voucher reward items, the value is up to £50. Terms and conditions apply to specific reward types.
Tax
Any tax due on rewards received is the responsibility of the person or business receiving the voucher. If you are unsure how a reward should be treated, please take your own advice from a qualified accountant.
Fair use
Referrals must be genuine. Ecosave may withhold or reclaim a reward where a referral is found to be fraudulent, duplicated, self-referred in a way that does not meet clause 01, or made without the referred business's knowledge. Ecosave's decision on eligibility is final.
Changes to the offer
Ecosave may amend, suspend or withdraw the referral offer at any time. Referrals already made and confirmed before a change will be honoured under the terms in place when the referral was made.
